Book your seat for the 1st Ladies Luncheon of 2015 and you will find out!
Wednesday, 4 March at noon The Second Floor.
Bring along a friend, and enjoy a relaxing luncheon at the Swiss Club.
Our first guest speaker of the year will be the lively Bev Moss, enthralling us with stories and anecdotes of her European adventures.
Bev Moss decided to ignore the usual morning chores after a week at work and to have a coffee and a read of the paper instead. She didn’t know why she started to peruse the employment section as she had a job she loved and was approaching her sixties and planning her retirement. Deviation from the normal routine of household chores led to a decade of exciting travel and adventures keeping her jet-setting between Melbourne, Dublin and London.
Bev lived a life in Europe she couldn’t have imagined back in Australia. She worked hard as an independent Reviewer for children in care. When not working, Bev made the most of every moment of living in Europe; she traveled widely; met interesting people from all walks of life.
She took visitors on tours of Clarence House, the home of the late Queen Mother; had lunch with the renowned author Maeve Binchy; and went to a Royal Garden Party at Holyrood Palace Edinburgh, the Queen’s official residence in Scotland.
One never knows when an opportunity will cross your path – don’t let age limit you in what you think is possible.
Everything is possible!
As to what Buckingham Palace and the Swiss Club have in common… well come along and find out for yourself!
