Comedy is Trump again

There will be a lot of laughter echoing through the Swiss Club soon again. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is setting up shop on the Second Floor of the Swiss Club end of March with shows running from Tue-Sunday night starting on Thur, 26 March.

The three comedians performing in 2015 on the Second Floor are

Cal-WIlsonCal Wilson with Undercurrents – for tickets

Cal Wilson came across the Tasman in 2003 and has gone on to become one of our most popular comedians, a perennial favourite on television shows such as ‘Spicks and Specks’, ‘Good News Week’ and ‘Thank God You’re Here’

luisaLuisa Omielan’s What Would Beyonce Do?! (UK) – for tickets

Fresh, sassy, and utterly original, Luisa Omielan is bringing her stand-up debut, one of the most successful shows to come out of Edinburgh Fringe to Australia!

TomTom Ballard Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred – for tickets

Swiss Club regular, Tom Ballard is back again. Tom sells out theaters across the country, has played the invitation only Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, and taken out the ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release. He is back with his new hour of stand-up about something bad and weird that happened to him in a taxi.

There are of course many more shows to choose from in different venues all across the city. Check out the entire program.

While it is not Swiss Humour, there are a total of 561 shows to choose from of which 104 are from international artists so lots to laugh about!
