The Swiss Festival is a sub-group of the Swiss Club of Victoria and organises the biggest annual Swiss event in Australia. The committee is made up entirely of volunteers, most being members of the Swiss Club.
All Swiss Community groups in Victoria are invited to participate alongside Swiss and Swiss associated businesses.
The first Swiss Festival (then called Volksfest) took place in April 2002 in Flagstaff Gardens. From 2003 – 2012, it was staged on the Grounds of the Austrian Club. In 2013 it returned to the center of Melbourne, close to public transport and easily accessible by all.
The Swiss Festival 2018 will be held at ALLIANCE FRANCAIS, St Kilda, Melbourne on Saturday/Sunday 27th/28th October, 10am – 6pm
